I. COUNSELING SCHEDULE 
 

The  counseling  for  admission  into  PG  Courses  in  SV  University,  SK  University,  SP  Mahila  Visvavidyalayam,  Yogi  Vemana 
University,  Rayalaseema  University  and  Vikrama  Simhapuri  University  will  be  held  in  SRINIVASA  AUDITORIUM,                   
SV UNIVERSITY, TIRUPATI as per the following schedule.  No individual call letters will be sent to the candidates.  
 

Admissions under regular/payment/self‐financing/sponsored categories will be 
11‐7‐2010  to  Phase‐I 
done simultaneously.  Students are advised to come prepared with necessary fee 
27‐7‐2010  counseling 
to join in the category of their choice. 
Counseling for  Candidates with participation during the period of study of qualifying examination 
28‐7‐010  NCC/NSS/Sports/  should attend the counseling with original certificates. The concerned officers will 
Cultural Activities  finalise the priorities. 
Counseling for  Children of Armed Personnel should attend the counseling with original discharge 
29‐7‐2010  CAP (Children of  certificate and service certificate of the parent. CAP category seat is available in a 
Armed Persons)  course in an institution if the number of seats are 25 and above. 
Physically challenged candidates should attend the counseling with original PH 
Counseling for  certificate issued by the Medicl Board. PH priority will be decided by the 
30‐7‐2010 
PH category  University Medical Officer.  PH category seat is available in a course in an 
institution if the number of seats are 20 and above. 

Cancellation of  Last date for cancellation of admission with refund of fees after deducting 10% or 
31‐7‐2010 
admission  Rs.500/‐ which ever is high.  No refund will be given after this date. 
2‐8‐2010  Phase‐II  The details of Phase‐II counseling will be placed in the website www.svurpgcet.org 
Onwards  Counseling  No separate call letters will be sent. 
 
Note: Date of closing of admissions will be informed at a later date. 
 
 

II. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 
 
1. Only candidates who have passed the qualifying degree examination with the minimum marks prescribed in Section C of 
the Instruction Booklet are eligible for admission.  Others need not attend the counseling. 
2. No admission will be given if the candidate fails to submit the relevant ORIGINAL certificates. 
3. The selected candidate has to submit all the original certificates along with two sets of Xerox copies.   
4. The selected candidate has to pay the fee IMMEDIATELY in the bank counter provided at the counseling centre and no 
extension of time will be given for payment of fee. 
5. A candidate who fails to attend the counseling on the specified date and time will forfeit the right for admission. 
6. A  candidate  who  is  now  doing  a  PG  course  in  any  other  Institution  will  be  considered  for  admission  only  on  the 
production of a certificate from the concerned Principal/Head of the Institution/College to the effect that the candidate 
is a student of the Institution and the certificates including TC will be released to the candidate if he/she is selected for 
admission.  Notional admission will be given to such candidates by allowing 4 days time.  If the candidate fails to submit 
the original certificates before the stipulated date, his/her notional admission will be cancelled. 
7. If  it  is  found  that  the  admission  is  secured  on  false  grounds  or  by  suppression  of  facts,  his/her  admission  will  be 
cancelled. 
8. The candidate has to come prepared to stay for one more day, if necessary.  
 
 
  
 
III. At  the time of counseling, the candidate has to submit the following certificates in Original: 
 
a. SVURPGCET‐2010 Rank Card and Hall‐Ticket (A candidate who lost Rank card/Hall Ticket can download the same from 
the web site and attend counseling). 
b. Provisional / Degree certificate of the qualifying examination. 
c. Marks statements of all the years of qualifying examination. 
d. Transfer and Conduct certificate (Admission will not be given without submission of Original Transfer Certificate). 
e. Secondary School Certificate (SSC). 
f. Study certificates from IX class to qualifying examination. 
g. Caste certificate in original from the Tahsildar obtained in 2010 or permanent caste certificate (in the case of SC/ST/BC 
candidates). 
h. Two income certificates from the Tahsildar obtained in 2010 (for those who wish to claim for fee concession/ apply for 
scholarship). 
i. Relevant  certificates  in  the  case  of  Physically  Handicapped  /  Extra  Curricular  Activities  (NCC  /NSS  /Games/  Sports/ 
Cultural Activities). 
j. Residence certificate of parent for stay in the state of AP from the Tahsildar in the case of candidates who have studied 
outside AP or carried out private study. 
k. Discharge certificate and Service certificate of the parent in the case of a child of armed personnel. 
l. Migration certificate  
 
IV.   HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION 
Admission  into  a  course  does  not  automatically  guarantee  accommodation  in  the  University  Hostels.    Admission  to 
hostels will be made as per the availability of accommodation and the hostel rules in vogue.
