Introduction

The main role of a project manager is to undertake project activities and complete
the list of tasks with quality, under scope, cost and with set deadlines. As a project
to clean huge bedroom from a newly acquired property in a up market suburb,
below are the list of tasks to be done:

Identification and numbering of items available in room

Shifting and uplifting of items to secured place
Cleaning of room and filling any open parts of the room
Doing wood work, handling of doors, bed etc available items in the room
Polishing of doors and wood
Applying disinfectants to the part of room
Applying oils, fragrances to the room
Putting uplifted items back to place
Closing a project with full stakeholder satisfaction

Steps involved in the project are -

Step 1: Defining the Project Scope

Step 2: Establishing Project Priorities
Step 3: Creating the Work Breakdown Structure
Step 4: Integrating the WBS with the Organization
Step 5: Coding the WBS

The above mentioned goals needs to be fulfilled with proper communication plan
and risk identification related to the availability of resources, space and handling of
items currently available in room.

A constraint, in any project management practice, is any kind of restriction that

defines a project's limitations; it is hence limited to the scope. Project constraints
are also considered to be mutually exclusive. In the project management triangle, it
is assumed that making a change to one constraint will affect one or both of the
others. For example, increasing the scope of the project is likely to require more
time and money. Constraints in the project are

Identification of available resources

Identification of required space to keep few items as uplifted from the room
There is fixed timelines, cost , scope against the project
Identification of resources and then assigning the same to various tasks set in
the project WBS
