Cognition and Memory Project

There are many factors that influence cognition and memory, whether it impacts encoding,
storage or retrieval. Your task is to design an experiment that determines whether something
hurts, helps, or has no effect on one or more of the three. Your experiment should have a control
group, be valid and reliable, and have a variable that you are clearly testing (controlling as many
outside factors as possible). You and your partner, if you choose to work in a pair, are to design
the experiment from start to finish and present your findings in a scientific manner.
