EVALUATION SELF AND PEER
INTRODUCTION:
Evaluation is such an essential part of teaching and learning. Evaluation is an
amazing fact that our schools and colleges know little of the result of their work
while learning is the objective of teaching while the teacher is an instrument for
its facilitation.

Evaluation provides the final evidence of whether learning has been

accomplished and some insight into whether the teacher was effective.

The evaluation is a two-part process; the first part evaluation is a determination

of what is of value or in simple word the identification of the objective or goals
towards which the education process is aimed. The second part of evaluation is
the judgment of whether these goals are being achieved.

of educational & social programs.

objective are being attained.

there is a little of value to come from student judgment of teaching
effectiveness greater attention is being given these evaluate data in
institutions all over the country.

value of self-confidence. We should be aware of the facts that working
alone has its own value and importance through it is often underrated. It
is linked with introspection, self- discovery and self-realization.
