car.

Materials:

CO2 Car

Cartridges

Fishing Line Track

Procedure:

1. Pull the fishing line through the metal hooks under the car.

2. Hook the end of the fishing line to the hook of the track.

Mass m/1000 22.5/1000 0.0225 kilogram

Time ----------- ----------- 1 second

Distance ----------- ----------- 12 meter

Velocity v=d/t 12/1 12 m/s

Momentum p=mv 12/1 0.27 kg*m/s

Force Ft=mv F(1)=0.0225*12 0.27 Newtons

Kinetic Energy K.E.=1/2mv^2 *0.27(12)^2 18 Joules

Work w=Fd 0.27*12 3.24 J

Conclusion:

If the car is lighter, it helps with how fast the car moves. Making sure its not too thin

also helps. When looking for certain specifications, it helps with finding other ones and makes

the work easier and faster.
