Subject Verb Agreement

A present tense verb must have subject v erb

agreement to make sense.
1. Add s to most verbs if the subject is singular
(only one).
The dog walks down the street.
(Hint: if there is an s on the verb, you do not need one on
the noun!)

2. Do not add s if the subject is plural.

The dogs walk down the street.
(Hint: if there is an s on the noun, you do not need one
on the verb!)

3. Do not add s if the subject is I or you.
