From the realm of the prophetic, 2017 is a significant and anointed time for the
Body of Christ! In spite of the many global challenges and personal issues that
confront us, members of the body will find ourselves coming into a greater
dimension of understanding and clarity as it relates to our life's assignment.
Simultaneously, God will be glorifying the saints and exposing our true value.
2017 is the year for the people of God to DREAM AGAIN.
God is on schedule to abundantly bless the saints in 2017. A special anointing has come to the
body of Christ to:
Accepting that God has planned a productive and progressive future for all who trust Him and
believe in His word, 2017 is not the year to be stagnant. While the threat of uncertainty and the
looming darkness contest our hopes and dreams, it's time for the believers to DREAM
AGAIN! This is an appointed time for the body of Christ to dream dreams that have never been
dreamt.
I prophetically declare that a new chapter is being birthed in our lives. As Isaiah 43:18 declares,
"Behold I do a new thing, shall you not know it?" Now is the time to get into strategic Kingdom
alignment and dream again!
DECLARATIONS
As the glory of God's presence fills us and overtakes our individual and corporate destinies, we
declare and decree that we:
2017 is a time where the prophetic word is ready to be fulfilled. The season of running with the
foot soldiers has ended. Now is the set time to run with horses and PURSUE, OVERTAKE,
AND RECOVER ALL!
6
Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness,To undo the heavy
burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your
bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see
the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? 8 Then your light shall
break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall
go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. 9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will
answer; You shall cry, and He will say, Here I am.If you take away the yoke from your midst, The
pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,10 If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy
the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the
noonday. 11 The Lord will guide you continually,And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen
your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not
fail. 12 Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of
many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to
Dwell In. (Isaiah 58:6-12)
FROM VISION TO VICTORY
In this consecration, we go from Vision - gaining a greater dimension of understanding and clarity as
it relates to our life's assignment - to Victory - a productive and progressive future as we trust God
and believe in His Word.
This is a special time set aside to seek the Lord. God promises to answer when we call Him. Ask
the Lord to define and refine your understanding of the purpose for which you were created.
Expect for your eyes to be opened to see what you have never seen before as the Holy Spirit
gives fresh revelation. Give yourself permission to dream again!
The combination of prayer and fasting can bring about transformation in you, revival in the church
and reformation in the community. Prayer is the way we communicate with God to seek His face
and His will. Fasting is an act of worship and honoring God. Biblical fasting is abstaining from
physical food for a period of time for a spiritual purpose. However, the purpose of fasting is not to
focus on food. It is about denying your flesh to feed your spirit.
Jesus taught His disciples to fast and set fasting as an expected discipline for their spiritual growth
and development (Matthew 6:16-18; Matthew 9:14-15; Matthew 17:21). There are many instances
in the Bible when individuals and groups fasted and positioned themselves for extraordinary
blessings.
Fasting without prayer is just a diet. Prayer must be a priority as we consecrate ourselves unto the
Lord. Prayer brings supernatural power to natural situations. Prayer invites God in to move us
from vision to victory.
Over these 21 days, you will experience a closer relationship with the Lord. You will receive
greater vision, clarity of your purpose and focus for the future. You are positioned for victory. As
a church family, we are being more centered in the will of God to receive more clarity of our
mission and vision; and operate in strategic wisdom to continually accomplish our God-given
assignment.
FASTING INSTRUCTIONS
This is a progressive fast. Each week, as we draw closer and closer to the Lord, the suggested
choices of foods change. This is a 24-hour fast. You may eat or drink everything that is included at
any time with no time restrictions.
Guidelines for weeks one, two and three are below. If you have significant challenges as we move
to the next level of fasting, try staying with the guidelines from the previous week or making
adjustments but do not give up.
If you are seasoned with fasting, feel free to maintain one type of fasting throughout the 21days.
Those who have medical conditions should consult their physician prior to starting the fast and
decide together what is feasible. If you are unable to fast from food for health reasons, you may
surrender other activities that hinder your spiritual growth or distract you from fulfilling your
purpose and replace that time with prayer and studying Gods Word.

PRAYER INSTRUCTIONS
Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud,
and He shall hear my voice. (Psalm 55:17)
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10)
Every day, pray for revelation through divine vision and manifestation of supernatural victory for
Apostle Eddie L. Long, First Lady Vanessa Long & the Long Family
New Birth Leadership, Staff and Congregation
The Body of Christ
Local, National and Global Community
Yourself and Your Family
You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways. (Job 22:28)
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know
that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (I John 5:14-15)
WHY SHOULD WE PRAY?
We pray because we love God.
We pray to worship God for who He is.
We pray to God to praise Him.
We pray to listen to God.
We pray to confess our sins.
We pray to petition God.
We pray to intercede for others.
We pray to resist temptation.
We pray to reinforce victory over the enemies of God.
We pray to see the manifestation of the prophecies of God.
We pray because God directs us to pray.
We pray to say thanks to our Father.
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through
us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. (2nd Corinthians 2:14)
JOURNALING
I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when
I am corrected. Then the LORD answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who
reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for
it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habbakuk 2:1-3)
Every day, record what the Lord shows you about yourself, your future, and those for whom you
pray. Write down what He shows you in the Word and how it applies to your life.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But
woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
Identify an accountability partner. Check-in with one another periodically to support and
encourage each another during this consecration.
CHURCH ATTENDANCE
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the
more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25)
Make it a priority to attend church during these 21 days. Being around other believers will
encourage you to keep going and being unified will strengthen us as a church family.
At the end of the Corporate Fast, prepare to sow a Consecration Seed Offering of $210,
representing $10 a day from the 21 days of fasting.
YOUTH FAST
For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth. (Psalm 71:5)
Children and youth are encouraged to participate in the Corporate Fast by choosing with their
parents an activity or type of food to surrender. Consider giving up desserts or sodas. Perhaps,
for certain periods in the day the whole family can sacrifice television, social media, video games,
secular music or using cell phones/texting (except for emergencies and contacting parents).
Parents should use their discretion in adjusting the fast for their children in a manner which will be
successful for them and not be perceived as a punishment. The activities or types of food sacrificed
can be changed throughout the fast.
Show your children the power of fasting by leading by example. Make it a family fast where your
family not only gives up something together, but also increases some things together such as family
conversations and activities, time reading and discussing Bible stories, or watching Biblically-based
videos.

MORNING VISION MEDITATION: Praise God for sending help to clarify your vision
Saul got up from the ground, but though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; so they led
him by the hand and brought him into Damascus So Ananias left and entered the house, and he
laid his hands on Saul and said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as
you came [to Damascus], has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy
Spirit [in order to proclaim Christ to both Jews and Gentiles]. Immediately something like scales
fell from Sauls eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized. Acts 9:8, 17, 18

MORNING VISION MEDITATION: Pray for God to show you whats next
After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which
I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you things
which must take place after this. Revelation 4:1 (New King James Version)
MORNING VISION MEDITATION: Thank God for working His purpose through you today
For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to

Amen. Hebrews 13:21 (New Living Translation)

MORNING VISION MEDITATION: Pray your faith in God grows stronger in the face of seemingly
impossible situations
Abraham was almost a hundred years old, so he was past the age for having children. Also, Sarah
could not have children. Abraham was well aware of this, but his faith in God never became
weak. He never doubted that God would do what he promised. He never stopped believing. In
fact, he grew stronger in his faith and just praised God. Abraham felt sure that God was able to do
what he promised. Romans 4:19-21 (Easy-to-Read Version)

Dont count on your warhorse to give you victory for all its strength, it cannot save you. But the
LORD watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. He rescues them
from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. We put our hope in the LORD. He is our
help and our shield. Psalms 33:17-20 (New Living Translation)

I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You. Job 42:5 (New King
