3.0 Synopsis
This course is an introduces the integration of marketing, design and ease of
manufacturing in creating a new product. Students will e exposed to the concepts and
principles of product design as well as the best processes to manufacture the product.
Knowledge of the environment impacts and issues on sustainability are also covered in

this course. This design project applies team based approached to which will improve
teamwork and communication skills of the students. Industrial talks delivered by experts
from industry give the opportunity in sharing the working experience from the experts to
the students.
