I cant wait to be back in the studio to
W hat was the inspiration
for you new first album?
I have always sung since I have
been about 10 years old and
have always had a passion for
music. My dedication and pas-
sion has been my inspiration
as now 8 years on I have made
my dream a reality, so that why
I called it 8 Years. I was able
to really reflect on my life so
far within muy msucio and that
also mean that people may be
able to relate to my music as
the lyrics may also reflect and
link to their own lives as well.
Who are your musical
influences?
I have always been a music
lover and have listened to so
many different pop artisits.
But if I had to choose who my
main influence was, I would
probably say Rihanna, I love
her amazing music. However
my grandad was also one of
my influences as he taught me
everything that I know as he
used to be a music teacher. He
has really helped me along the
way with findibng what style
of artist I want to be.

one can hear it!
Who has given you the sup-
port that you have needed
to achieve your dream?
I have always had a very
strong relationship with my
mum as she brought me up on
her own. I have the best mem-
ories of my childhood as she
has always believed in me and
pushed me to be the best that
I can be. She comes to everys-
ingle one of my shows and is
always there when I need her.
I am so grateful for that as if
she had not been as support-
ive, I may not have even been
here today! But also of course
my fans have been giving me
so much support and I cant
thank them enough!
Why do you want to tour in
the UK?
I have had a lot of support
from the people of the UK and
my fans over there are amaz-
ing! I just want to be able to
give something bvack to them
rather than always being In
America. As well as this I just
like change. Living in Amer-
ica all of my life has meant
that I have only performed in
America so I just really want-
ed a change and what a great
way to be able to see different
countries around the world.
Do you enjoy the song writ-
ing or the singing more?
Ive always been very creative
so definitely the song writing!
Its the only way that I can ex-
press myself, I love writing
songs that people can relate
to and that my fans love!The
singing on the other hand I do
obviously still enjoy but I feel
like I can make myself stand
out as an artist more with my
creative lyrics that I want to
carry on producing.
Where do you want to be in
5 years?
I am so grateful as to where I
am today and Ive been so ex-
cited I havent been thinking
about the future, Ive just been
taking every day as it comes
and enjoying every minute. I
havent really set any goals
for myself as to where I want
to be in the future as you nev-
er know what life is going to
throw at you. My only aim is
to keep making music, push-
ing myself and also maing my
fans happy! Lets just hope
that next year is going to be as
great and successful as this
one has been for me so far!
