ANGULAR PNEUMATIC HACKSAW

SYNOPSIS

In this project we are designed the new type of angular cutting

machine. It is operated by pneumatic power. It is very useful for pipe cutting

and PVC pipes manufacturing industries.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Here we are using hacksaw cutter for cutting operation. This is cutter

operate done through the pneumatic power. When the compressed air enters

in to valve the double acting cylinder starts to moves in forward and reverse

direction. Due to this moment the cutting action will takes place through the

hacksaw blade which is fixed on the machine. The cylinders are operated

through the solenoid valve which is coupled with the control unit. The piston

forward and reverse stroke is taken in to account for the blade motions. The

blades are connected at the end of the piston rod which is clearly shown as in

the below diagram. And the screw arrangement is using to tilt the hacksaw

machine at different angle for cutting of our work piece at the required

angle. And this is known as angular cutting machine.
