3 BEST SECTRETS ABOUT HAPPINES

Think about a time when you felt particularly

happy. What makes you happy?

Was it because you had loved ones near? Because

you were surrounded by a beautiful landscape?

Because you had just accomplished your goals? Or

were you happy because you have been
successfully in economy?
What makes you happy? That seems like a simple
question, but the truth is that many people don't
know. Psychological research on happiness has
identified several things people have in common.
The types of things that make them happy, the
things they think will make them happy, and the
differences between the two.

This study has been conducted through interviews; it

was purposely for exploring the basics of happiness
among the youth within the society.

What are the secrets behind a happy life?.

Scientists have also

discovered that most people don't do a good job of
predicting what will make them happy.

Happiness is the worthiest thing for the successfully

human growth. Sometimes people spend their
money and time for exploring it either to themselves
or for the sake of their relatives in their relations.

Thoughtful, driven people spend so long reflecting

about what makes a meaningful life; they
sometimes lose sight of what actually feels good to
them on a daily.
The study has found that although there are several
things that contribute to ones happy but they all
grouped into three basics that makes people
happy; close relationships, peace and success. On
the other hand, money and material things do
not have a lot to do with happiness, and people
who emphasize them are less happy than those who
do not.

People who have had a happy past are more

likely to have a happy present and future. On the
other hand, people with bad experiences may
well dwell on these, carrying the unhappiness
forward with them. In this way, the past can create
the future.

Furthermore, people who are optimistic, by definition

feel happier now about the future. They assume that
things will be better than they likely will be, even in
the face of a negative past. People who are not
bothered by the past or future can also just be
happy in the present moment. Worry about the
future is a common creator of unhappiness, and
stopping worrying can give you a huge boost.

It's not so much that being healthy makes people

happy;
being unhealthy makes them unhappy, especially
when society stigmatizes.

Overall, and over time, the people who report the

deepest happiness and well-being are those who
give of themselves - who live beyond their mere
egos.

What makes me happy is when I see success is

People who challenge themselves, seeking to learn
and achieve find pleasure not only in reaching their
goals but also in the struggle and focus to get there.

They often set both smaller and larger goals,

enabling them to get a sense of achievement in
each of the little steps along the way to the greater
joy of achieving something significant.

Good relationship makes me happy. The best

indicator of a person's happiness is the quality of his
or her close relationships.

Whether you're talking about romantic relationships,

family dynamics, or simply close friendships, the
happier you are in your social engagements, the
happier you are in general; As one of the
respondent replied To be loved is what makes me
happy, it hurts when someone hates me.

Affective forecasting is the process of guessing how

you will feel under specific future circumstances.

Affect is just another word for emotion or mood. If I

said that tomorrow you were going to lose your job,
break up with your partner and fail a test, I'll bet you
could pretty accurately predict what your emotional
state would be.

But how effective are people at affective

forecasting when it comes to happiness? Not very;
research has shown that most people make
consistent errors when guessing what will make them
happy in the future.

Think about this: if you could either be a powerful

manager of a large company, making trillions of
money, or work part-time at a small organization,
barely making enough to cover your bills, which
would you choose? Which do you think would make
you happier?

If you're like most people, you probably said making

lots of money would make you happier. But, as you
might have guessed from the research on money
and happiness, that's not the case for most people.
When you think more deeply about the jobs, you'll
realize that a manager of a large company might
make a lot of money, but she/he also works very
long hours at a stressful job.

Quality relationships are the factor most likely to lead

to happiness. Observation shows that relationships
determines ones happy.

Caring for others gets you out of yourself and stops

you worrying. Seeing others who are less fortunate
than you can also have a contrastive motivation. If
you have an internal values that says caring is right,
then by caring for others you increase internal
alignment.

People who are grateful for their lot in life and who
show gratitude towards others for the things they
receive have been found to be happier.
volunteering creates feelings of greater self-esteem
and psychological well-being. The more one
volunteers, the more positive the effect, further
adding to feelings of happiness.

Notably, thanks can be found in many religious

prayers. People who follow a religion are generally
happier than those who do not. Good relationship
with Jesus makes me happy, once I do against is
what makes me hurt respondent replies.

Whether or not it is true, faith gives you security of

knowing such comforts that you and yours will
survive death and may be forgiven for your sins. It
also gives meaning to lives and may well promote a
healthy lifestyle.

People who follow a religion are generally happier

than those who do not. Only Jesus makes me
happy, when I go against his rules and
commandment I become hurt. Whether or not it is
true, faith gives you security of knowing such
comforts that you and yours will survive death and
may be forgiven for your sins. It also gives meaning
to lives and may well promote a healthy lifestyle.

Belonging to a religious group also adds the benefit

of friends who are likely obliged by the religion to
help out in times of need. Doing Gods will is what
makes happy, forgetting his will is what makes me
hurt.

help out in times of need.

Those with a sense of fun and who can laugh,

especially at themselves, are generally happier.

Laughing at yourself implies a sound sense of

security with a reduced tendency to worry, which in
turn contributes to happiness.
When people keep busy they are often happier
than those who slow down, watch TV, surf the net
and other less active things.

Activity reduces time for moping, adds interest and

increases the chance of meeting others and finding
happiness in new areas. Not too surprisingly, exercise
makes people happier.

Jogging makes me happy. When people work

out, endorphins, which are natural painkillers, are
released creating feelings of euphoria. A perfect
example of this is runners high, but luckily, the
feeling can also be achieved in other, more fun,
ways.
Of course you can be unhappily married, but a lot of
people are content with their marital lot. People in
successful marriages are happier overall than
people who are not.

There are many these days who are not married, but
who are in stable, committed relationships. As long
as this is effectively the same as marriage, then they
also can be happier.

People who have rich social networks, with good

friends who will help them out when they are down
are generally happier. They have the pleasure of
meeting people they trust and the sense of security
in knowing there's always someone there who can
help.

Studies have found that even spending time on

social media looking at photos of your friends (you
know, the ones you actually like) can raise oxytocin
levels making people happier than they were before
they looked at photos or status updates. Human
beings, it seems, need to feel love and connection
through personal relationships in order to feel happy.
Who knew?!

Success

Having a job or hobby that they love and that

challenges them and helping others through
volunteer work, random acts of kindness or another
type of pro-social behavior.

Happy people are successful. Or is it the other way

around? What we know is that if you are successful
in marriage, friendship, income, work and health,
then you are more likely to be happy.

Sadness depresses the immune system as well as the

mood. Happiness acts in the opposite way. Being
healthy also sure beats being unhealthy. Happiness
and health are thus a two-way causal street.

But what about money? After all, if you don't have

any money, it's very easy to believe that lots of
money will make you happy. But that's not what
psychologists have found.

Once your basic necessities are met, research has

shown that additional money does not have a lot to
do with happiness. So, while billionaires may fly on
private jets to luxurious spas all over the world, it
doesn't mean that they are any happier than
people who drive 10-year-old cars and fly coach.

However, focusing on money and material things

can make you profoundly unhappy. Research has
shown that people who put a lot of emphasis on
money and things are not as happy as non-
materialistic people.

Peace makes me happy

All three of these things make sense. I'll bet you
weren't very surprised that solid relationships,
engaging ways to spend your time and prosocial
behavior all contribute to happiness.

Friday, March 20, marks the third-annual

International Day of Happiness. The day came
about after a 2011 UN General Assembly, where the
importance of happiness was discussed as not just a
priority for global health, but also as a fundamental
human goal, from which all things even
economic growth can benefit. With this realization
about the importance of happiness in mind, the first
UN Conference of Happiness was held in 2012 and it
was decided that starting in 2013, every March 20 to
follow would be celebrated as International Day of
Happiness.
