To Whom it May Concern:

I am writing with regard to Savana Carrillo, a great student at El Capitan High School. Savana is one of
the most exceptional, respectful students I have encountered in my ten years as a high school counselor.
I have experienced many examples of her exceptional talent, and I am impressed by her continued work
ethic. Currently as a senior, she keeps in contact, allowing me to observe her growth and
accomplishments in her last year at El Capitan. Due to her notable knowledge and abilities, I am
confident she will continue to accomplish great success.

In taking some very difficult classes, Savana has maintained a 3.80 grade point average overall at the
end of her first semester in her senior year. As a senior she continues to challenge herself and she is
currently taking one AP class and two honors classes when other senior are just coasting to the end. It is
also noteworthy to mention that Savana has had good attendance throughout her school career,
illustrating her commitment to education. Savannah has also excelled in volleyball and has been an
intricate part of several volleyball championships since her time at El Capitan High School; Ive always
admired her tenacity and determination to succeed in the classroom as well as in the court. Finally, I
know that Savana is anxious to continue her education beyond high school and I have no doubt that the
drive that she has will only get stronger as she proceeds into college.

Throughout the school year, she provided positive encouragement, listened to her fellow classmates, and
helped them in any capacity that she could. As a person, Savana is a kind, caring, friendly individual.
She has been able to masterfully balance between her academics, sports, and volunteer performance.
She gets along with everyone, cares about others and her personal academic achievement are
outstanding. Moreover, Savana is highly respected by her teachers both for her abilities and for her spirit
of cooperation with others. Savanas drive does not stop with her academics or sports. She also sees
the importance of helping others, Savana has volunteered her time as a coach for community
organizations in basketball and volleyball in the community that she grew up in.

I would highly recommend Savana Carrillo as a motivated, knowledgeable young lady who will succeed in
any task she is entrusted to complete. Savana will be a positive addition to any program she applies to.
She possesses the qualities necessary for excellence in any setting she enters, and has my entire
