Spanish:

1. She said that the homework that she assigns should take no longer than
15-20 minutes to complete.
2. She believes that if a student completes the homework in her class, then they
tend to achieve greater success in her class. She believes that homework has
a value.

English:
1. She assigns no more than an hour of homework.
2. She believes that homework has a value if it is directly related to what is
being learned. It isnt helpful if its just a worksheet. Homework of value
includes studying and project work.
3. At most 2-3 hours a night.

6. Students should be allowed to choose their own amounts of homework by
enforcing the policy in which students finish the classwork that they didnt
finish at school. Also, higher level classes shouldnt be recommended for
students with many extracurricular activities and preoccupations.

Civics:

1. In the way that this class is set up, students take home the work that they do
not complete in class. Ideally, students shouldnt be spending more than an
hour completing math homework.

Science:
1. She tries not to assign more than 30 minutes of homework in a day. She also
said, that most of the time she gives students some time in class to complete
all of their homework.
2. She believes that homework does have a value. In the past, she didnt really
believe in the concept of homework. She has found in her seven years of
teaching that students who consistently complete their homework tend to
have mastered the content better than those who havent.

said that this system was more efficient. Due to the 8th grade annex, there
has been a disconnect between teachers. She believes that increasing
communication will help dispel the problem. Additionally, she said that
