To Whom It May Concern:

I am extremely pleased to recommend Gloria-Alexandra Gueorguieva. True scholar, talented

athlete, and active leader are all titles that can be given to Gloria-Alexandra. I have been
Gloria-Alexandras counselor since her freshman year and since that time she has impressed me
with her drive and spirit. She is a self-directed and assertive young woman and I am confident that
she will flourish and be a standout student at any college that she chooses to attend.

She has excelled in all of her AP classes and she is currently enrolled in 2 AP and honors classes,
part of the varsity tennis team, plus has been attending our local community college since her
sophomore year and also excelling in the college environment. She currently has a 4.32 GPA and is
on track to get straight As at end of this semester. Gloria-Alexandras academic talents led her to
also earn recognition every year at El Capitan High School Night of Excellence and received an
academic achievement award. It takes a very talented student and tons of hard work to be a scholar
and an athlete at the same time. I have many students that are academically gifted and athletic, but
you dont often come across a student that takes it to the next level at such a young age. She is not
simply taking general education classes at the local community college she is taking higher level
math and science classes. Not an easy feat to do as a high school student with a full schedule.

One of the most enduring things about Gloria-Alexandra is her level of maturity. Her maturity is
evident in her ability to assume the greater part of the responsibility for planning her education,
establishing her goals, and preparing for college. She has often come to my office to discuss her
schedule for the following year and to discuss what classes she should take at the local community
college. In my 10 years of being a high school counselor I have only had a hand full of students that
are persistent and committed to creating their path like Gloria-Alexandra and achieving at such
high academic standard.

Gloria-Alexandra has worked hard and succeeded at becoming a well-rounded student and person,
and I speak positively on her behalf without exception or reservation. She has shown herself
deserving many times over, and no doubt will enjoy the successes for which she strives. If you
