Greetings, Musmembers!
Musmos Ateneo held its annual Core Group Elections for AY 2017-2018 last March
27 to 29 at MVP 214.
For this year, 50% of the eligible members of the organization have been able to
vote. Each member of the organization was able to vote for a maximum of twelve
(12) slots for the elections, while the Coordinator merited two votes.
With this, the Coordinator proclaims the official tally of the results for the Core
Group Elections for AY 2017-2018.
Candidate Percentage
To be an elected officer, one would need a total of 50%+1 votes of the total number
of those who voted as per Article IV Section 1 of the Code of Internal Procedures.
Following the provisions set by the 2014 Musmos Code of Internal Procedures, the
following ten members have been officially voted to be part of Musmos Core Group
for AY 2017-2018:
In light of said results, the next steps of the electoral process will be as follows:
1. The Coordinator will inform the aforementioned elected Core Group members time
to decide whether to accept or decline their Core Group seats.
a. In the case where the member refuses, the next member with the next highest 50%
plus one vote will take the slot.
b. In the case where there will be a blank spot, the newly-elected Core Group will have
the discretion to appoint an inducted member in the blank slot. (Article IV, Section I
of the Electoral Code)
2. Once all seats have been confirmed, the incoming top 12 will once again be asked
to submit their Top 3 desired positions.
3. The Forum Series will officially begin.
On behalf of the outgoing Core Group AY 2016-2017, I, the Coordinator, would like
to congratulate everyone who has actively participated in this years Core Group
elections.
