Each year of Pre-K through 12th grade will prepare you to enter college as a competitive applicant.
o You need to be on a 12th grade reading level or higher to be prepared to enter and stay college
o You need to know how to read the most rigorous texts to be at the top of your college class and
get the best jobs when you graduate college
o You develop critical thinking and speaking skills that will be important when you get to college
o You must write essays in your college application that are well written
o You will need to get recommendation letters from teachers, coaches, and mentors that
demonstrate you show core values and Habits of Mind
