History:
Arl was born on the feral world of Revai, a planet devastated after many wars. The
inhabitants struggled to survive through salvage and armed struggle. Arl never knew his
parents, and suffered abuse at the hands of the stronger folk he attached himself to.
Finally pushed too far, he killed a man and took off on his own. Living in the wild, he
was eventually recruited by a group of assassins who harvested likely candidates from
among the natives. He was an apt pupil, and learned to survive in the greater Imperium. It
was years before he heard of the destruction of his homeworld by xenos, but he kept his
rage bottled inside. Someday, he vowed, he would learn who was responsible, and have his
revenge. But he needed power to have any chance of success. He continued in his career.
While investigating an influential target's home, Arl stumbled upon a book of demonology.
This was his opportunity. He turned the man in to the Inquisition, and began a new chapter
of his life as an acolyte to the Inquisitor he'd assisted.
