Skullduggery Pleasant

Adaption B - Rebecca Ryan

Concept
I wish to adapt the book series Skullduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy. I
want to model and rig Skullduggery, the skeleton detective in a film noir
pose and then allow him to move to a sassier pose and click his fingers,
producing a flame which will give it more of a neo-noir feel.

Initially it will be in black and white and colour will only be introduced
after the flame is shown.

It will probably only be a 20 second animated sequence but I would like

to pose him in different variations too, possibly mimicking the book covers
or film noir detectives.
Who is Skullduggery Pleasant?
A skeleton detective who can harness magic.

A highly sarcastic character but highly intelligent.

He is an elemental meaning he can control the elements.

Fire: he can produce sparks, flames and fireballs.

Water: he can shield himself from the rain, remove water from clothing etc

Air: he can manipulate air to push people, float and later on fly.

Earth: a purely defensive element and is only used in emergencies. If earth is used, the body
becomes harder than stone although you may be stuck this way for a day to thousands of years.

Skullduggery put his gloved hands in his
pockets and cocked his head. He had no eyeballs
