SectionI.INTRODUCTION

Smart2KV3i/bioopticalisanadvancedtimeandattendancebiometricterminalbasedonfinger
print and/or employee identification number using verification/identification mode. This machine also
completedwithkeypad,usedforinputIDnumberwhencardisunused.Providedwithabuildinmemory
capacity128MBSD/MMC.Expandableupto2GB.

Thesingleshelled,plasticcasingmakeSmart2KV3i/bioopticalhasmagnificentshapefitsintoany
environment.Theplasticcasingwithallitselectronicsislockedontoawallmountedblackplateforeasy
installation and maintenance. Also completed with user friendly utility software that can be easily
installed on PC in order to manage and load data. There is also rechargeable battery available, up to 2
hoursofoperatingbackuptime.

A.Installingthesmart2KV3i/Biooptical

1.Turnthelockclockwisetoopenit.Thelockwill 2. Open the back casing of smart2K/Web by pulling

beinverticalposition. the upper portion of the back plate. If you cannot
open the case, try to open it with a tool. Put the
tool inside the back plate hole and pull the back
plateusingthetool.

3. After you open the casing, put the back plate 4. Hang the front part of the smart2K/Web on the

- For the TCP/IP specify an IP address of the smart2KV3I/Biooptical

then enter an IP address in host address column. Note for the port
numberis23(default).

- ThenclickOK.

respond back with SMART2K 2.10 001 that means the smart2KV3I/Biooptical is
