From the performance rating and Merit Allowance data, we can observe-
Merit Allowance decreases with decrease in Grade
Merit Allowance decreases with decrease in performance rating
For a same rating and a same grade ( eg: B,2 ) there is a large variance in the
minimum and maximum Merit Allowance.
It might be due to the tenure served in the organization ( data not provided ) o
r the Merit Allowance is not uniform across
grades and rating
