Paradigm Drilling Services taper mills are used to mill out restrictions in collapsed casing and liner
sections, mill through jagged or split guide shoes, enlarge restrictions through retainers and adapters,
and de-burr whipstock windows. The lower taper section guides the mill into the collapsed section. Then
the straight or slightly spiraled blades, dressed with crushed tungsten carbide, mill away the undersized
section to full taper mill diameter. The full-bore ID improves fluids circulation for cooling and facilitates
cuttings removal.

Taper mills are available in standard sizes or can be special ordered to any length and OD to meet the
specific requirements of the job.
