Abstract

Poverty is almost everywhere in the world and not a lot of people are doing anything to stop it.
There are multiple ways on stopping poverty as well as having less people live a horrible life as
other people think about poverty. Its very hard for people to live in extreme poor conditions
especially in developing countries. No houses, rarely any food as well as little to no education for
the little kids are all hard for the people living like that. Poverty is stoppable because it was able
to be reduced by a long shot.

Poverty, What is it? Poverty is a state of being very poor which means restrictions of

daily items along with: crime rates become higher, people being unemployed, little to no food,

no money, dirty water, lack of education, no home, hardly any medicine, etc. Being in poverty

has an effect on people negatively because of the unsafe work and bad foods it leaves them in a

bad state including women and children. Poverty is very important because if we are able to stop

it around the world it will bring peace as well as having a roof over the people who are

struggling with poverty together with good foods. In recent work, Global citizen has offered

harsh critiques of being in beggary. It is very important for people to know about poverty

because it would make the world a better, cleaner, as well as a commutative one. People who are

trying to stop poverty are proven to work together with the different types of skills they have.

Poverty also doesnt help out poor people but in fact it helps our environment and the way they

are able to live their lives. If that doesnt convince you on why you should care about poverty

then look at it from the people who are living without any of the items you need in everyday life.

Poverty is all over the world but it started in the 16th century when there were two

classes the rich and the poor both classes were separated so in result most places in the world

there are good looking as with bad looking areas. It may have seem as if the problem would have

gotten better by then if the classes havent been separated but thats how life was back then.

Poverty is usually in developing countries like in most parts of Africa but they are also in big

major cities/countries. Roughly 3 million people live in poverty and only make less than $2.50 a

day and each of them die due to hunger and dehydration. Luckily there are some solutions that

are able to get rid of the problems within poverty.

Solutions

For the first solution to end poverty is to educate the little kids and the young adults

because with more knowledge comes easier as well as creative ways to end poverty. With the

education new inventions are added through such as Peepoople which is a toilet bag that turns

into fertilizer or the LifeStraw drinking dirty water out of a straw to filter the water. Another

solution is following the 10 steps to reducing poverty from the global citizen which provides a

list of things that they think are able to change the world one way or another. One of the most

important steps is having everyone involved with reducing poverty starting small with a

community and growing bigger. They dont want to just grow bigger but also combining

countries to work as one big group to take over this hard task with the skills people have. From

being a doctor to a teacher and doing hard labor for the ending of poverty could take some time

but it can be done.

Focusing on the poorest people in countries would help out because most of the countries

are suffering with less supplies and medical treatment. Demanding action as global citizens is

another way to spread the news because it will have people interested all over the world to help

out one way or another. Having the governments making a commitment aid people to get rid of

poverty is important because they should raise the money people are making a day instead of

working a full day just for $1.25. Corruption is another issue within poverty that needs to be

stopped reason being is it makes individuals who are trying to make a business think that they

are going to make a lot of money but really doesnt. Having the different kinds of skills within

poverty is great because you can be a fast learner and know how to be a doctor or an inventor.

Limitations

Some may challenge the view that having a large community is beneficial by insisting

that is most people can be lazy or end up stealing important items just for themselves rather than

sharing with everyone else. Though T. Townsend may say that this solution ignores some of the

complexities of the situation, and they feel that everyone is going to be good and able to

participate on their project on saving poverty. Some other limitations are getting power in

developing countries and that is hard because there arent any power related energy unless you

bring generators. Governments may not agree with stopping poverty because they need money to

save and maybe they give out $1.25 day and people dying because of hunger or thirst.

Recommendation

Although I grant that poverty should be stopped I still maintain that not a lot of people are able to

care about the situation. While it is true that people are able to help each other world wide, it

does not necessarily follow that there are people that dont care or not wanting to do anything

about poverty. On the one hand, I agree with the men and women should be paid more than

$1.25 a day. But on the other hand, I still insist that the government saves the money to buy

supplies and other items that are needed. While some might view beggary as the wrong direction

to follow, the research suggests that to have a lot of creative ideas that will be the most

beneficial. Research on this issue is hard to read.the best solution available, is to have all people

help out with poverty,
