GENERAL INFORMATION QUIZ

IMPLEMENTING RULES & REGULATIONS

1. The 1st PICPA-Isabela Inter-School Accounting Quiz Bee- GENERAL

INFORMATION QUIZ is open to all 1st year and 2nd year Accountancy
Students of universities and colleges within the Province of Isabela.
2. Each participating school is allowed to send up to 10 students. Participants
per school can join the quiz bee given that he/she doesn't participate in more
than two quizzes.
3. The quiz shall cover general information topics.
4. Corresponding points, time allotment, and number of questions are as
follows:

5. Participants are advised to be at the designated place 15 minutes before the

time scheduled. Late participants are still allowed to participate; however, the
participant will be disqualified for the questions he/she had missed.

6. Participants will be provided with a copy of the questions. The quizmaster will
read each question once. The timer starts after the quizmaster says Go.
7. Calculators (non-programmable) are allowed and flash cards provided for the
contest will be used.
8. Clarifications regarding a particular question/problem must be addressed to
the quizmaster before the quizmaster starts reading the next question. Only
participants are allowed to raise the clarifications. The decision of the
quizmaster is final.
9. Any person found coaching will be forced to leave the venue. Participants
caught cheating will be disqualified. The quizmaster shall have the absolute
control over the conduct of the quiz.
10.All points will be accumulated in all 3 categories. The participants garnering
the top 3 highest scores will be declared Champion, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd
Runner-Up, respectively. In case of tie, clincher question(s) will be drawn.
11.Prizes will be given to winners.
