Vertical and horizontal Gear Pumps

The gear pumps, type ON and ONV are reliable units designed
for applications requiring a constant, pulseless flow of non-cor-
rosive liquids having a wide range of viscosity. These pumps are
suitable for industrial and marine purposes such as: Lubricating
oil, transfer, unloading etc. The pumps have four internal bear-
ings that support the shafts and the bearings are lubricated by
the flow of the fluid. Every pump has a built-in safety valve with
by-pass to the suction side. Every pump is tested with a liquid
having a viscosity similar to that for which the pump is ordered
including the capacity, discharge head and the revolutions stat-
ed, for which the pump unit is required. Certificates from any of
the Classification Societies can be issued.

Hard fine-grained cast iron Of ample size and standard manufacture.

Shafts: Base plate:

Steel or alloy steel, heat treated and ground to the Cast iron.

Gears: Flexible.
Helical teeth in heat treated steel, keyed to the shafts
and held in place by lock nuts and washers.

The pump can be furnished right or left hand.

Type ON + ON
Horizontal twin Gear Pumps

Specification: the same as for type ON:

Twin gear pumps can be executed as shown to the right,

driven by one motor with two shaft ends. Pumps can be of
same or different size and both can have flexible couplings
or one or both can be fitted with a coupling handle to uncou-
ple the pump, which is not wanted in operation.

Type ON Specification:
The same as for type ON except for the bearings
which for this type are slidebearings.
