FAITH, HOPE & LOVE KIDS RANCH 14TH ANNIVERSARY

TESTIMONY OF GROUP
What a trip it has been to the Philippines! The two weeks I spent at the Faith, Hope and Love Kids Ranch will remain in my
heart. It has been encouraging, reviving and simply fun! The Ranch is a place where I see in a tangible way the love and
power of God, a place where I see His good work in restoring lives. I was encouraged by the children their love for each
other and their generosity toward us. I was encouraged to see them full of joy. Knowing that it comes from God. Each child is
so unique and it was fun, a gift to share in their daily lives and treat them. It fills me with hope to see Gods truths brought
to the kids. My time here has also been a refreshing break from everyday life at home. Being pulled away from all my usual
activities allowed me to hear God more clearly, to remember Him, His goodness.

Thank you all for letting me come. I hope and pray to return! Eva Ross

The Department of Social Welfare and Development DSWD urges all its partners from various fields of social
welfare to uphold, protect and promote the interest of the most disadvantaged sectors of the society, whether the children, elderly,
women, men, minorities, laborers and many others through the full implementation of programs and services that impact the lives of
these people. It has been the advocacy and flagship initiative of the department to cooperatively work with every stakeholder who
immensely responds to the cry of the most needy, the helpless, hopeless and the hungry. These stakeholders never cease to give
hope in every situation, whether it is a social crisis or the most difficult circumstances and never complain to continue uplifting the
lives of the hurting and show commitment to help these people become ABLE again to perform their lives purpose and eventually
allow them to go back to the mainstream society, stronger as ever and hopeful as they never been.

As the DSWD recognizes the efforts and hard works of its partners, from government, to non-government entities and peoples
organization, every year, it is a tradition of the department to give full honor, recognition and appreciation of every accomplishment
that created a visual impact to the lives of the people they are serving.

The prestigious recognition is called the PANATA AWARD, an award given to an organization that shows not only exemplary love,
care, affection and compassion to the people under care but also creating a huge positive influence and impact to the society in
general.

This year, Faith, Hope and Love Kids Ranch, unexpectedly, is given the PANATA AWARD during the 66 Anniversary of the DSWD.
From among hundreds of agencies, the Ranch was picked as the recipient of this prestigious recognition after the deliberation
undertaken by the DSWD Screening and Awarding Committee. The decision was made to honor the diligence and competence of the
Ranch in responding to the needs of the increasing number of children for a safe home, excellent education and for the love of a
family.

The Ranch serves as not only a haven for children with difficult pasts, but also provided a way for them to belong to a family through
alternative parental care. Throughout the whole year, the Ranch is able to shine the brightest among other agencies in promoting the
LOVE FOR CHILDREN through consistent discipline and teaching the value of honesty, obedience, faithfulness, love for others, respect,
giving high regards to life, equality, LOVING GOD and many other attributes. Indeed, as small as the Ranch compare to other agencies
in the region, its progressive impact to the lives of the children has been seen and rewarded. Together with this honor is the Ranchs
commitment and responsibility to continue with its good works and a pledge TO BECOME A ROLE MODEL AND GOOD EXAMPLE TO
OTHER AGENCIES. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!
