People love pandas because they are very beautiful and they arent dangerous. Pandas live in forests, in
the mountains in China. They sleep in trees or under trees. They are big, black and white animals. They
walk on four legs and they sometimes swim when they see a dangerous animal. There are about 1,000
pandas in the world.
Pandas eat vegetables. They dont often eat meat, fish or eggs. Pandas eat fast and they eat a lot. They
eat for about twelve hours every day. They eat about ten kilos of food every day!
Pandas dont live in groups and they dont like people. The mother usually has one baby, and she looks
after it for eighteen months. Baby pandas like playing.
