MALAYSIA - CHINA BILATERAL RELATIONS: ISSUE ON CLAIMING


SPRATLY ISLANDS OWNERSHIP.

Spratly Islands dispute has been an issue between countries that want to have the ownerships
on it. Among the countries that have the issue about the Spratlys Island ownership are
Malaysia and China. As China and Malaysia are having strategic relation including
international economics relation, the Spratly Island ownership would be an issue that will
affect the relation.

This paper is intended to analyse the relationship of the issue with the security, diplomacy
and trading partner between Malaysia and China. It will cover the basis of the claim,
challenges and the solution towards the issue.
