TOPIC A: WAR ON DRUGS
Having in mind that
International Law has proposed
to ban all existing drugs, the
unintended consequences of its
application in this direction has
lead the world to the exploration
of new approaches to regulate
them. The drug control regime is
in danger of collapse in the face
of changes in the perspectives
established in the UNs
Conventions of 1961, 1971 and
1988.
The Kingdom of Spain has
diverted its attention to the fight
against trafficking and organized
crime, which are the issues that
stand out from the others
consequences of the War On
Drugs. Over the effects of the
last counternarcotics policies, the
Spanish Kingdom believes that a
current powerful weapon against
this fact are the models of legal
regulation. However, any
legislative provision should be
taken with careful attention to
potential damage and aligned
with the needs and capabilities of
each country. The Spanish harm
reduction policy has proved an
effective approach in the process
of decreasing use of narcotic
substances - a situation noted by
encouraging national results on
drug consumption rates.
The Kingdom of Spain is far
from a desirable situation of
drugs containment . In hopes of
reformulations on drug control
regime, the country hopes on the
session of UN Security Council
the mention of its proximity to
Africa and South America, once
the existence of routes of traffic
between the hemispheres flowing
for the rest of the European
continent. Also suggests
commitment and a joint effort by
these societies. Indeed,
multilateral actions focused on
combating trafficking and
organized crime are a more
effective measure in the Kingdom
of Spains view to solve this

TOPIC C: THE KURDS
Europe is facing a subject
that inspires immediate solution
because of its negative effects
on the continent. European
Union facing with the
complacency with regard to
Kurdish rebels, it has
understood that ethnic conflicts
are often related to the lack of
prospects for improving
people's living conditions most
affected by poor socio-
economic conditions of the
region where the Kurds has
settled.
The importance of this
issue remains on the Kingdom
of Spains diplomacy once it
influences the largest migratory
crisis that Europe has
global problem that affects the
International Society.

refugees arriving constantly to
the mainland in search of a new
life, away from the bloody
conflicts that affect their
countries. The Spanish
expectation of solving this
problem in the UN Security
Council Session also deals the

constant threat of Europe can
also be the victim of Kurdish
militant attacks on the crisis in
Turkey, human rights and the
principles of peaceful
transformation and negotiation
