(What Happened?)
Name Card: As it was my first day of
teaching, I wanted to have fun with the
students and get to know them. Due to this
reason I prepared a name card which
requires name, favorite food, color, and a
statement/quote/Bible verse that they like.
The importance of listing agenda;
I forgot to write todays agenda on the
board and my cooperative teacher
reminded me at the end of the class
Reflections & Critical Response

have read from class?)
It went well because the students were
having fun writing their own cards and
looking at what their friends were writing.
After I did this, I tried to memorize their
names and that activity actually helped me
to get to know my students. If I had to
spend time a little longer with them, I hope
I could learn more about their personalities
and their background. In a long term class
setting, this would help us to easily
approach them knowing the needs of
individuals. It would make our students
feel the love and care of the teacher. I am
sure that loving and caring class would
create a productive teaching and learning
environment.
Although I included the agenda in the
power-point slides that I used, I realized
that it would be helpful for the students to
see on the white board. It would help them
to overview the class activities, what they
were doing and what would come next?
After each activity was done, I could easily
cross out to show the students where we
are now. I took it as a good reminder and I
will make sure to list agenda on the board
before introducing topic to the students, in
my future classroom.
