Benedict CLE REFLECTION #2

1. A. In what way has advertising influenced you?

B. Identify/ name at least 2 advertisements that made a great impact to you.

i. Fita Advertisement

- When the guy wished to hava a red sports car and got only literally half of it. Having the reason hat he offered
only half of his Fita biscuit to the beggar who happened to be a genie unexpectedly.

ii. Many Villar Advertisement

- Even I don’t seem to like Manny Villar I appreciated his advertisement against poverty. I admire its creativity and
concept that the first step against poverty starts within oneself.

C. What are some assumptions/concepts about it that were behind these advertisements?

At the Fita Ad, I remembered the Law of Interaction. For whatever you do, something must, should, and will eventually flow
nor bounce back to you. It’s seemingly the sequence from action to reaction in a deeper sense.

However, I noticed at the Manny Villar Campaign Ad that the march of words in it are very striking and convincing, only that
the nation just can’t trust him for all that he did in his previous term(s.) For some instance, I indeed appreciated his urge
against poverty, that his Ad is inspiring yet he just doesn’t seem like the right man to represent the country and moreover,
to rule it.

2. Think of other influences in modern society that “push” a certain view of man & influence our behavior.

Family History

Traumatic Experiences

Social and Peer pressure

Curiousity

Lifestyle

3. Why do you think people accept these influences so easily?

Generally, I do believe that people accept these influences way so easily because the human mind is actually not
CREATIVE but ADAPTIVE. That is what I read in a Psychology book and furthermore accepted as part of my belief.
That man has this kind of thinking adapting the concept of RIGHT and WRONG through a sequence of experiences
wherein he is then therefore subject to such LIABILITY of his wrongdoings. That man learns a certain value as he
grows up. A value that is based from what his upbringing is highlighted of. A value that cannot exist without a
virtue that roots from a child raised by his parents or even guardians. A value that can mean any less to any point
of view. It’s the significant TASTE of someone for things, that he might things UNUSUAL to others as USUAL and
USUAL to AWKWARD. Again, it is because our minds are adaptive to our upbringings and not merely creative,
generally. Even though INSTINCT somewhat plays a role to man’s creativity, it’s ways on constructing methods are
extremely adaptive and dependent to what it is INSPIRED OF.
