As a teacher at John Overton High School, I am given many opportunities to meet and
work with students. However, its a rare opportunity to write a recommendation letter as strong
as the one that I am able to write for Nuven Tayip. I am delighted to recommend Nuven for the
current opportunity as a part of your team. Nuven has been a student of mine for the past year,
and during our time together, I have been given the opportunity to learn a great deal about her
gifts, abilities, and character.
Nuven has many gifts that are an asset to any work environment, but the one that
stands out the most is her gift of determination. She has an innate desire to succeed, which
has led her to shine in my class and in her extracurricular activities. Her reliable grit allows her
to receive excellent grades on projects and tests because she will not accept anything less
than perfection. When Nuven has faced a challenge, she has never faltered to explore every
opportunity to overcome adversity, while demonstrating her ambition and creative problem
solving skills. Her regular class participation has inspired many of her peers to shoot for
success and develop their own inner grit and determination.
In light of her many gifts, Nuven demonstrates an array of abilities that far succeed
those around her. During her time at Overton as a full-time student, Nuven has participated in
a plethora of clubs, including, but not limited to: the Ambassadors Program, Varsity Softball,
and American Red Cross, all while maintaining straight As and a part-time job. With her busy
schedule, Nuven has learned the skill set of time management and will continue to utilize this
skill in her future endeavors.
Nuvens many gifts and abilities are only out-shown by one thing, her character. Among
her many positive attributes, Nuven is responsible, caring, assertive, and charismatic. She
exhibits these characteristics in all aspects of life and does not hold back when doing so.
Recently, I had a large task to complete with moving equipment across campus, and Nuven
quickly stepped up to help lead her peers efficiently and effectively while exuding positive
energy the entire time.
In conclusion, Nuven Tayip would be an excellent addition to your team, and an asset
moving forward. She will make great strides being a part of this team, and I have no doubt that
she will do the same with your team. I have no qualms that her abilities and determination will
continue to grow, and do not hesitate to recommend her whole heartily.
