PILING

The Contractor's attention is drawn to that the sizes of piles

shown on drawings and the Contractor shall allow for verifying the
adequacy of the piling system to achieve the specified loads.

PILING EQUIPMENT
Allow for the following.

Mobilization of piling equipment to site and removing on

completion; include for moving the piling rigs / frames, raising and
/ or lowering and providing staging as necessary.

Reinforced Concrete Bored Piles

Check design according to existing subsurface conditions, supply
and install reinforced concrete bored piles with concrete strength
F'c = 35.0 Mpa, including reinforcement of ASTM Grade 60 with
approved corrosion inhibitor; include for cleaning of toe and
removal of excavated material and disposal of water off Site

A P1 600mm Diameter L= 12.3M minimum Pile 19 No -

B P2 600mm Diameter L= 13.7m minimum Pile 34 No -

C P3 600mm Diameter L= 14.2m minimum Pile 2 No -

Pile Testing
Perform all required and necessary test for the reinforced
concrete piles, Bentonite Test, Static pile load test, High strain
dynamic load test, Test of piling material as per the designers
general notes in drawings and specifications; Including the
preparation and submission of test pile reports and interpretation
for the final review of the Owner, Owner's geothechnical Engineer
and the Consultant. Tenderer to provide breakdown of the Tests.

Pile Head Treatment
The pile head will be re-profiled with high strength micro conrete
and encapsulated with 3 component epoxy grout. Preferred
system will be Polyprotekh PH or approved equivalent.

Apply pile head protection and encapsulation systeme which

includes re profiling, waterproofing and the excapsulation of the
pile head.

INSTRUMENTATION AND MONITORING

Allow for all monitoring and control instrumentation and measures
