Punong Barangay

Dear Maam Sir,

Evidently, wastes and other forms of garbages in our Barangays are not being
controlled. It further contributes to the alarming present situation of Mother Earth. These
wastes if burned will produce carbon dioxide that will pollute our air and if will be stuck,
likewise, will produce even worse, the methane.
So in order to help take a step in resolving such issues, in accordance with R.A.
9003 or the Solid Waste Management Act, the Students enrolled in Community
Immersion under the School of Public Administration and Governance will be
conducting an activity entitled: Kalinisan at Kaayusan mga Kabarangay (KKK).
This activity will include information drive on the effects of unsegregated wastes
to our environment, sayings will be posted in conspicuous places and garbages will also
be installed.
In this connection may we ask for your permission to do such activity in your
Barangay on March 07, 2015, Saturday from 8:00am-12:00pm.
Thank you so much and we are looking for your positive response.

Respectfully yours,

Mervin Jay Go
Activity Coordinator
