Author Bio
My name is Wenceslao Lacaze and I’ve been working as a SAP
basis Administrator and Solution Manager Consultant for the last 8
years.
I’m a Techno-Functional SAP Solution Manager Subject Matter
Expert (SME), I Design, Build and Implement the product using “Run
Sap” Methodology.
I have developed a very extended experience with medium and
large scaled SAP installations in several (multi)national
environments.

I am based in Argentina, but work all around the World.

I work directly for clients or via an agency.

Create the Traning Documents

SOLAR02 – Configuration Phase

During the configuration phase, you need to identify all the Business process
related to the Project, in every Business process you put process step.
The training information related to the single step is in the Training Material TAB.

In the Training Materials Tab you have:

• Name of the training Material
• Document Type:
o Can be Training Documents(PPT)
o Additional Documents (DOC)

o Itutor Documents (Itutor)

• Person Responsible
• Status
Another Important tips is identify well the OU and the Users in End User Roles Tab
.This is important because when you send the training material, solution manager
use this list of users.

Learning’s Maps
The learning’s maps allow to prepare the training documentation and use WEB
Training inside solution Manager.
For use the learning maps you need to run the transaction SOLAR_LEARNING_MAP.
Creating learning maps.
For use the learning maps you need to run the transaction SOLAR_LEARNING_MAP.

When you create a Learning Map solution Manager ask for the Title and what
project are related.

To start to use Learning Maps you need to create the learning structure, you have
Chapters and Units.
In this Sample we want to Assign the training document “Training for Accounts” to
the Chapter 1/ Unit 1. You use the technology “drag and related” for do that.

Now you can see the Document assigned to the Unit 1

Changing the Header

You can edit the Header of the learning map too, create a logo or put link to the
service Desk or to the company.

We put the Support Desk link, The logo and the Sap link.

Open in web Browser

For test if everything is Ok you can click in “Open in Web Browser” and you can
see the next windows.

Feedback
When the users end the training session, they can leave a feedback and write
there comments.

Send to Users
For send the new training to the final users you can use the button “Send to Users”
in the Main window.

When you select the roles to notify and click over “Create an E-mail and copy text
template to clipboard” solution Manager open you E-mail Client and paste
automatic the email address of the users and roles selected before.

You can modify this template inside Solution Manager.

Analysis
If you want analyze the different feedback you can click in analysis button in the
Main window.
The system show the next windows with all the information.
