Warranty Information
Cooler Master guarantees that this device is free of defect in material and
workmanship, and provides a two-year limited hardware warranty for the device
commencing from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt for proof of
purchase.
This product is designed for computer usage only. Using this device in any other
capacity voids the warranty. If you are not familiar with computer hardware
installation, please ask for professional assistance.
The warranty offered covers normal use. Defect or damage that result from
improper operation, storage, misuse or abuse, accident or neglect, which are not
the fault of Cooler Master, are exclude from warranty coverage.
Note: the warranty is voided by removal or alternation of product or parts identification labels.

Chapter 2: Installation

Removing top panels

1. Remove manual screws.
2. Pull back the top panel and lift it upward. You may
remove the top panel.

Installing the Motherboard

1. Fix the screws on the bottom panel by corresponding
with the motherboard screw holes
2. Install the motherboard to the bottom case and make it
align with the screw holes.
3. Secure the motherboard by fastening the screws to the
corresponding screw holes.

Installing CD-ROM
1. Slide the CD-ROM into the bay from the back and
make it align with the screw holes.
2. Fasten the screws to secure the CD-ROM.

Installing Floppy

1. Open the door and insert the floppy disk into the
bay, making it align with the screw holes.
2. Secure the floppy disk by fastening screws.

Installing HDD

1. Insert the hard disk from the back into the bay and
make it align with the screw holes.
2. Fasten the screws to secure the hard disk.

Installing the power device

1. Insert the power device downward to the bottom
panel and align it with the screw holes on the
back metal shielding.
2. Fasten the screws to secure the device

Install VFD
Remove VFD shield screws and take off the VFD shield

1. Take the VFD cable from the part packageinsert

VFD cable into the VFD cable hole, and connect
to the mother board
2. Screw the VFD shield

1. Connect the VFD cable to the USB on front of

chassis
2. Fasten the VFD shield back with the screws
3. Arrange the VFD cable with the cable ties and
binders on the case.

I/O Function Panel Installation Guide

z Please refer to the illustration on the section of USB2.0, IEEE 1394a, and Audio connector
from the motherboard users manual. Please select the motherboard which used the same
USB2.0, IEEE1934a , AC97 standard as below; otherwise, it will cause damages to users
device(s).
z The following illustration is a connection diagram for the front panel I/O cable.
z NEVER connect an IEEE1394a cable to the USB2.0 connector. Doing so will damage the
device.
z NEVER connect a USB2.0 cable to the IEEE1394a connector. Doing so will damage the
device.
z On some motherboards, the connectors for IEEE1394a, USB2.0 and Audio are not the same
as the drawing below. Please check with your motherboard manual before installing.
