PROFESSIONAL TEAM
SITUATION VACANT NOTICE 01/2017
Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires services of qualified individuals to fill the following vacant posts where
selection will be made purely on suitability and merit:-

Project Director AIIAP Expansion Project (EG-09) (01 Position on Merit)


(Under PC-I of AIIAP Expansion Project)
S. NO 1
Contract: 02 years (Renewable)
Salary: Rs. 280,319/- per month (Negotiable)
B.E / B.Sc / B.S in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a HEC recognized
QUALIFICATION University.
Applicant must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council
Minimum 25 years of experience with 10 years in similar capacity at administering and
managing mega projects
Experience of handling negotiation management and conflict management issues effectively.
EXPERIENCE Experience in participating in high level operational initiative, infrastructure
design/development & capital works follow-up
Experience of overseeing major roads, runways and airport terminal projects would be given
extra weightage.
Hands-on experience of Primavera and other Project Management tools & techniques
Having in-depth knowledge of infrastructure development of varied nature.
SKILLS Possessing vision and leadership skills to plan, handle and manage mega infrastructure
development projects with ability and interpersonal skill to lead a team of highly experienced
and professional staff.
AGE Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations)
Flight Inspector Pilot (EG-07) (06 Positions on Merit)
S. NO. 2 Contract: 02 years (Renewable)
(Salary: Rs. 675,000/- Per Month with 5% Annual Increment)
Graduate.
QUALIFICATION Hold a Valid Pakistani ATPL with a current type rating on one of the Commercial / Military
Transport Aircraft types registered in Pakistan.
Minimum flying experience of 7500 hours including 4000 hours as Pilot in-Command
(minimum 2500 Pilot-in-Command hours on Commercial Air Transport Aero Plane).
10 years or more experience in Commercial or Military Air Transport Aero Plane as a Pilot.
Must have an adequate experience of working in an Airline or Military Air Transport
EXPERIENCE
Organization.
Should have held previous appointments either in operational managements, as an airline
pilot and designated examiner, or training, or as a military pilot where equivalent experience
in air operations would have been acquired.
Should have broad knowledge of Air transport Operations, Meteorology and Climatology &
auditing techniques.
Experience with technical training & flight simulating training devices including visual aids
and synthetic training devices.
Experience of carrying out statistical analysis of aviation activities and monitoring of airlines
KNOWLEDGE
reliability program.
Extensive knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules, ANOs, ICAO SARPs and other applicable
regulations.
Well versed with IT & MS Office application.
Knowledge of State Safety Program (SSP) & Safety Management System
AGE Maximum 63 Years (including all age relaxations)
Application Procedure:

(a) Interested candidates are required to fill & submit Online Job Application Form available at

(b) Candidates will be required to upload detailed CV with Photograph, scanned copies of CNIC, Domicile,
all Educational documents (Degrees / Certificates, Transcript / Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC),
Experience Certificate(s), PEC Certificate (for post at S. No 1) and valid ATPL License (for post at S.
No 2) in the online application form.

(c) In case a candidate does not upload the above documents with the online application form, his/her
application will be rejected

Terms of Reference

i) Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete applications shall not be
considered.
ii) Interview will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta for which separate
notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).

iii) No TA / DA is admissible for test / interview.

iv) Appointment will be subject to CAAs medical fitness standards.

v) Selected candidate for the post at S.No 1 will serve at AIIAP Expansion Project Lahore and the
successful candidate for the post at S.No 2 may be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan.

vi) Government servants / employees of autonomous bodies / corporations including CAA employees
should send their applications through proper channel. NOC from current employer is mandatory.

vii) Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained.

viii) Successful candidates will be required to submit the copies of the educational documents duly verified
from the concerned Board / IBCC / HEC at the time of joining.

ix) Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a definite
disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise
qualified.

x) In case, any educational documents found fake / bogus at any stage, the services of selected
candidate will be terminated immediately and he / she will be blacklisted in future.
