Junior management positions:

Management trainees undergo a period of

After 10 + 2 a graduate course in management


Bachelors in Business Studies/Business administration/Business
Management (BBS/BBA/BBM)

Management education may begin at the graduate level though most professionals
hold a postgraduate qualification. Undergraduate courses provide basic knowledge in
all operational areas of management. These courses are conducted by several
universities and business schools for students passing from school from all subject
streams. Admission to some prestigious universities is made through a selection
examination.

5-year MMS courses after +2

Few universities conduct 5 year integrated management course after +2. Birla
Institute of Technology, Pilani, a forerunner in the introduction of management
course for school leavers, admits students who have studied Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics in Class XII to its 5 year MMS course after +2.
