class.
Ensure that when allocating groups, any students who

the same group.
Were the students engaged in the youtube video played at the beginning of the lesson?
Did the students actively participate in discussing some of the natural vegetation shown in the video?
Were the students able to find their own video which appropriately discusses the natural vegetation of their allocated
country?
Were the students on task, appropriately accessing video material relevant to the lesson?
Could the students effectively use and navigate Powerpoint to compile a presentation?
Do the students feel confident about presenting their findings next week?
Were they any parts of the lesson which the students found difficult?
12.40 pm 5. The class will be directed to move into the groups which they have
been working with over the course of the WebQuest project so that
they are seated together.
6. The students will be directed to find their own youtube video which
https://www.youtube.com
discusses the natural vegetation of their chosen country, keeping in
mind the natural and man made influences on this.
7. Students will be provided with an ipad each in order for them to 1x Ipad per student
retrieve the necessary data.
8. The link from the video should be pasted into the group google docs
page and later into the Powerpoint Presentation.
9. The teacher will walk around the room, providing assistance to
questions and queries as needed. The teacher will also need to
ensure students are using Youtube appropriately and accessing
material relevant to the lesson.
10. At this time, all students will be advised by the teacher to start Powerpoint Presentation
compiling their findings from the past four lessons using Powerpoint.
11. Students will be advised that the Powerpoint should last 4-5
minutes.
12. Students will need to log on to their google docs page to access this
information.
13. When compiling the presentation, students should assign roles as to
who will speak at which times.
1.20 pm 14. Students will need to save their Powerpoint to ensure that it can be
accessed in the following week of presentations.
15. Students will hand ipads in to the front of the room and will return to
their own seats in the class.
16. In the following lesson students will present their findings to the
class with the accompaniment of their Powerpoint presentation.
Assessment: (Were the lesson objectives met? How will these be judged?)
The teacher will have access to all groups google docs page and will be
able to see if groups were on task with their work. The groups should have a
link to their chosen video visible here and a short presentation prepared for
the following week.
In lesson 5, the presentation to the class will indicate in more detail the
production of the lesson and will be a final assessment item.
Throughout the lesson, the teacher should be on their feet observing how
peers are working together, assigning roles to members, contributing ideas
and sharing the work load.
