Practicum

Reflection as a teacher:-
As a part of 1st years B.Ed Training Programme we, the trainees
got chance for teaching practice in different schools from 2016
January 18th to February 13th and from June 15th to October 30th I
was selected to be in S.N.D.P. School Muvattupuzha for the
teaching practice. The first day itself the teachers of this school
welcomed us cordially. The welcome was so sweet. It made me
very pleasing.
The classes which I was given were 8 th and 9th standards. Firstly
I was afraid when days were gone, I became free from anxieties
and the encounter with children made more and more pleasing.
By one month teaching practice I could understand about pupils
and what should be their base.
By means of the teaching practice, the continued teaching
practice of 4 months was so easy. I was so careful to deal with
the problems and to find out solutions easily.
I was so attracted by two things when I went on teaching. Let
me point out those things:
If we loved the children sincerely they will repay what I
expect ie, love, reverence, and keen attention to the points
which I taught.
Though I.E.D students were firstly some problem makers, I
could gain their sincere love and progress in studies.
However I felt my pupils were so free with me and with my
dealings.
I was so careful to teaching with the subjects and
simultaneously I tried to share the values in life and good
manners also.
I was so keen to inspire the children to be participants in
various kinds of activities in school. According to their tastes,
they came forward to partake in all programmes provided. As
a whole Teaching Practice gave me sweet and melodious
experiences.
Thanking to God, my teachers, my colleagues.
