ABSTRACT
Objectives: To understanding the process of project planning in primavera p6 by using project
calendar and develop the schedules. To control resources ex: - labour, non-labour, machines etc.
Methodology: Site visits of ongoing projects and understanding the various tasks, plans and
scheduling models, collection of project data, venture Planning and Scheduling by using Primavera
P6, interpretation and tabulation of Results, conclusion. Findings: Analysis of results in primavera
p6 observed that resources should be controlled are arranged to other activities of same project or
another project of same enterprise. Controlled the budgeted units to control the project cost.
Reliability of implementing primavera p6 it is more advantageous on ongoing parallel projects and
it shows the results accurately. From the analysis observed that project time is over run due to
following conventional method. Applications: This software is mainly used for getting more
accurate and reliable results occurring in planning and scheduling, resource planning labour, non-
labour, material etc, mainly in coding tenders, to start multiple projects at same time, requirement
of cash flows, labour, non-labour, and material for every month to start the project.
Key words: Fast-track planning, scheduling, resources, time, cost etc.

1. INTRODUCTION
Fast-track arranging, when all is said in done can be portrayed as the capacity of selecting the project
structure. And also it can be described as the function of achieving the targets of a project by building up
the strategies, techniques, and projects. Main role of fast-track planning is to set the major milestones.

What's more, the line directors trust that they can meet them. On the off chance that the line director can't
confer in light of the fact that the breakthroughs are seen as farfetched, the task administrator may need to
create choices, one of which might be to move the points of reference. Venture director is the way to
fruitful task arranging. Venture arranging ought to be precise, adaptable to handle one of kind exercises,
restrained through surveys and controls, and fit for having multifunctional inputs. The project time should
be minimize by using fast-tracking1. From the past research work carried by shorten duration raised by
fast-track construction can compare with traditional method2. Fuzzy project scheduling is used from past
20 years and also it is useful to for uncertainty and impression3.The research done in implementation of
constraint programming in production scheduling for precast plants4.Civil Engineering Standard Datas are
help full in Resource planning and scheduling5.

2. VENTURE PLANNING AND SCHEDULING BY USING PRIMAVERA P6

Visit was made to the site of residential project at Narsing (AARADHYA) in Hyderabad, their
construction planning is observed and data is collected from, data of conventional planning is collected. To
archive better than previous results must following fast-track planning process. In this company they are
following conventional planning. Plan area of AARADHYA was 50,000sft, G+5 Residential building.

2.1. Resource Planning

Planning of resources in primavera p6 can be done by using resource calendar and scheduling activity;
specifically, labour, non-labour, and material. Proper planning of resources are important key to success of
project. Analysis is done in primavera p6 it shows the results of labour, non-labour, material usage are
tabulated in tables.

2.1.1. Planning of Non-labour (Equipment)

Non-labour units are measured in terms of price per hour, price per day, reused between activities and
projects. For JCB Rs700/hr, for tipper Rs2000/day. From primavera p6 analysis of non-labour planning are
shown in Table 1. (budgeted vs actual units of non-labour)

2.1.2. Planning of labour (Man-Power)

Labour units are measured in terms of number of members. Labour resources are generally, reused
between activities and projects and are recorded in terms of number of members primavera p6 analysis of
manpower planning is shown in Table 2. (budgeted vs actual units of man-power)

4. CONCLUSION
Arranging engineer has a standout amongst the most critical parts in development ventures. Arranging
specialists are in charge of guaranteeing that the venture will be finished according to venture
administration arrangement due dates
Planning engineer should know how to process the planning techniques via software and producing
visual aids to help explain the schedule of work. In this journal Primavera P6 is used in planning, and also
planning engineers dealing with big amount of data try to say and not just pass them to others.

By comparing the results in primavera p6 is most useful for the analysis and getting more accurate
results. Mainly focus on the critical activities to complete the project within the time, if fail project time
should over run.
By comparing the results in from table-4 time is over run due to improper planning of the organization,
they are followed conventional planning, I am giving suggestion to Muppa constructions and Pvt. ltd,
they are following conventional methods, I advised the importance of fast-track planning method and
importance of primavera software for faster construction of project within time.
