ACCESSING THE PROMISES OF GOD IN

HIS KINGDOM
Isaiah 45:19 (AMP)

What is a promise?

A promise by the advanced learned dictionary is:

1. A written or spoken undertaking to do or not to do something or give something.

2. Something that gives hope of success or good result.

What then does the phrase “Promise of God” stands for? It stands for the written
covenants of God’s word.

Note:

The bible is divided into two parts;

1. The Old Testament

2. The New Testament

The word testament means “covenant”.

Covenant means the promises of God by His words- whether positive or negative.

What is a kingdom?

A kingdom is an empire, a domain, a territory or a province where there is a king. It

consists of a constitution, people, boundaries, a lifestyle, a government, and benefits.

We all belong to a kingdom called “The kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians 1:13).
This kingdom is governed with divine principles, which is the word of God, contained in
the bible- a divine constitution.

In this constitutional document, there are ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’. The dos connect you to the
kingdom blessings while the don’ts disconnect you from the curses thereof. It is your
choice to make!

For life to produce maximally for anyone, its maker has provided us with the manual of
life itself (John 5:39).

The bible contains everything you want to know about life. Every other book authored by
mankind could be an elaboration of the bible, if the book itself is godly, whether written
by scientist or spiritual men.
Today, we are here to focus on an aspect of this constitutional piece called “The
promises of God”. These promises are hinges on which the blessings of the kingdom are
hanging. And today, these promises have become the statement of the covenant right of
the believers in Christ (Galatians 3:13, 14; 2 Peter 1:3, 4; Ephesians 1:3).

Our covenant Rights (Matthew 22:1-14; Luke 14:16, 17, 21)

These covenant rights are the things that the blessings of Abraham can produce in our
lives when they are rightly provoked (Revelation 5:12).

1. Progress (Proverbs 4:18)

2. Success & Prosperity (Joshua 1:8)
3. Favor (Psalms 44:1-4; 5:12)
4. Wealth (Psalms 112:1-5)
5. Fruitfulness (Psalms 92:12-15; Isaiah 32:15; Psalms 1:1-3)
6. Peace (Isaiah 48:17, 18; 2 Peter 1:2)
7. Long life (Psalms 91:14-16; Exodus 23:26; Psalms 34:12-14)
8. Divine direction (Psalms 32:8, 9; Isaiah 30:21; 48:17)
9. Open heaven (Deuteronomy 11:10-14; Haggai 1:4-10; Malachi 3:10)
10. Good health (Exodus 15:26; 23:25)
11. Protection (Psalms 121:5, 7, 8; 91:9-13)
12. Dominion (James 4:7)

Note:
The basic qualification for all these is uprightness (Micah 2:7; Psalms 84:11; 18:25)

How do you access these covenant blessings?

1. Locating your purpose (Isaiah 5:1-5; Proverbs 19:21; Psalms 33:10, 11)
2. Obedience to divine direction (Isaiah 48:17, 18; Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Job 36:11)
3. Obedience to covenant demands (Deuteronomy 7:7-15; James 1:22-25)
4. Commitment to kingdom services (Luke 12:30-32)
5. Liberality (Psalms 41:1-3; Proverbs 11:24-26; 13:7; 21:13; Isaiah 58:6-8, 10-11, 14)
6. Prophetic connection (2 Chronicles 26:5-14; 20:20; Ezra 5:1, 2; 6:14; 1 King 17:7-16;
2King 4:1-7, 8-17; 3:8-12, 15-20; 2:19-22; 5:1-14)
7. Engaging the ministry of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:9-14; 1 Corinthians 2:9-12, 14)

Note:
Accessing your covenant blessings is not a ministry of begging God but of claiming your
Covenant rights by rightly providing their password in prayer (Hosea 14:2; Isaiah 41:21;
43:26)

8. Have faith in God’s word (Romans 4:17-21; Isaiah 51:1-3; Hebrews 11:6)
Faith is an active word (a doing word), not a passive one. It is the principal agent for
bringing our expectation to reality. It is a principal factor in the kingdom of God that
must be in place in your life, if anything will ever happen in your direction.

Your ability to translate your blessings from the heavenly places into the physical realm
is completely dependent on the measure of your faith in the word of God.

Your faith is directly proportional to the measure of your spiritual understanding. The
word you seem not to understand, you cannot believe; and until you believe it, it cannot
bless you.

Your faith cannot deliver beyond your understanding of God’s word. Therefore, you need
to constantly ask God for an increase in spiritual understanding in your life. The strength
of your faith is equal to how much of God’s word you understand, and not how much you
can quote.

The transmutation of your spiritual blessings into their physical equivalence is never at
the mercy of the game of chance but it is by the operation of faith in the word of God.

All of God’s promises are divinely programmed to deliver according to their kinds if
correctly provoked (Isaiah 34:16).

God can never do anything beyond His word; He can never help any man beyond His
word
