    Mass Wasting News Broadcast
    Create a News Broadcast about your mass wasting picture. Your news-
    broadcast should be written as breaking news and have the same details
    you would hear on a real news program:
    **WHO did it happen to?
    WHAT happened?
    **WHEN did it happen?
    **WHERE did it happen?
    WHY did it happen?
    **these you can be creative with and come up with a great story!!!
    Details that should be included in your broadcast are located on your rubric:
    1. Define mass wasting
    2. Correct name of mass wasting
    3. Speed of the mass wasting event
    4. Define weathering
    5. Form of weathering the influenced (helped cause) the mass wasting
    event
    6. Define erosion
    7. Describe the agent of erosion influencing the mass wasting event
    8. Explain and describe the rate of weathering, erosion, and deposition as
    it relates to the mass wasting event
    Students should score themselves under Student column of rubric. Then,
    students should swap with another peer group and grade the other groups
    under peer.
