Spotlight on Year 2 Dragonflies

Dragonflies have been learning how to write

instructions. First we tried to remember a set
of instructions how to make an aeroplane
(and of course we made aeroplanes and had
fun testing them), next we identified the
features of instruction writing to finally write
our own instructions.

In numeracy we have been learning about

different units of measurement of mass,
length, capacity and time. We have recently
looked at British coins and started to solve
some simple money problems. In science we
have started a new topic uses of everyday
materials and we had fun exploring and
looking for different materials around the
school.

In our class friendship is very important.

Despite the weather we managed to have
fun and play games both indoor and
outdoor.

Have a great and relaxing weekend!

Ms Ewelina, Ms Marta and the Dragonflies
