Job Description:
Quantitative Skills Center greeters contribute to a welcoming, positive, and professional
learning environment. They assist students with accessing services and resources provided
by the Center with an upbeat attitude. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
welcoming clients to the Center, assisting clients with signin procedures, explaining the
process of receiving assistance from a tutor, managing the help request queue, managing
the resource checkout system, answering the telephone, printing and cutting out tutor
business cards, maintaining the general appearance of the Center and answering routine
questions. Greeters are also required to attend staff meetings and trainings to discuss
center processes and to improve skills.

At the QSC, as in all oncampus positions, we hire on a quarterly basis.

Greeter interviews usually last between 30 and 45 minutes. Please list three
days and times that you would likely be available for an interview this
quarter. For example: Monday mornings, Tuesdays after 1pm, all day Fridays
