I. - Content and structure of the report "Demonstration of professional experien
ce." I.1 The content of the written report. The report must cover the experience
of professional practice conducted from the time they graduated from the race s
o far. Must demonstrate the achievement and integration of learning acquired dur
ing graduate professional education is not only a description of facts, but foun
ded with theoretical basis, the diagnostic and prognostic necessary to provide s
ufficient evidence of the extent to which it makes a significant ejrcicio, criti
cal and creative profession, so that, from the systematic, highlight its profess
ional skills and pursued. This should be based on systematic documentation of th
e experience, which should be integrated into the section "Annexes." I.2 Structu
re of the written report from the demonstration of professional experience. The
old content should be organized to respond to a logical structure for the develo
pment of a report of professional experience. This is, information blocks: 0 .-
Introduction. Presentation work and a summary of the career, highlighting what s
hould be especially appreciated or considered and communicating what is in each
chapter. (This part is the last to be done, after completing the report.) 1. Tay
ectoria professional. Where chronologically specified: Date, place, roles and fu
nction, activities, achievements, learning or empirical herurístico, formal lear
ning achieved. Within it announces what experience is exemplified, for more mean
ingful results. 2. The context in which the expertise developed . We describe th
e institution or organization from its founding until the present, considering t
he main aspect of his philosophy, design, organization, orgnigrama for locating
position, function, and the professional project proposed and implemented.
3. Presentation, description and justification of relevant experience. Relate th
e situation find you, faced problems and proposed solution. Planning. The stages
of the project, description of work done in them, methodologies, models, patter
ns, routines, tools, supports and foundations; evaluation to determine accuracy,
errors and results. 4. Proposals and critical reflection of experience. What is
provided within the development area predominantly of experience, judgments abo
ut how the training was the basis of practice, notification of how far the profe
ssional profile corresponds to the demand for performance, what emerging practic
es are performed, what professional development that addresses the needs demand,
which reached prestige and social significance for their performance, what sign
s or indicators have about this, what suggestions does the institution dedicated
professionals, who recently started the practice in light training received in
the race, experience, training and professional development required by professi
onal practice. Addition to the items stated in the instructions for preparing th
e Report of Professional Experience as an option for certification, and think an
d care must be addressed the following issues to allow a differentiated value in
practice and experience. 1 .- In submitting the exemplification of the practice
(detailed report of the party that favors the report) has to account: In the si
tuation of communication. Of the problems prevailing in the field of work to get
there. Point with clarity and detail: What was the professional contribution ma
de to the procedure performed? What was done to overcome or move the situation a
nd how they solved the problems encountered?, How will circumvent or overcome ob
stacles, difficulties and barriers to the exercise of the profession?.
2 .- In the illustration, to give a clear account of how orderly was the profess
ional approach,€the communication of professional intervention in a manner that
can be identified: the professional project within which such intervention takes
place (objectives, purpose, goals, values and beliefs, theories or professional
). organizational routines and forecasts organization's operations. The pattern
of intervention procedures or still in their performance. The material processin
g pprima
3 .- To end should be a reflection on professional practice and an analysis made
of it, from the perspective of the "profession." That is, we must take into acc
ount that the profession is knowledge, specific skills and abilities needed to s
olve or meet specific needs of the profession concerned and not to any other pro
fession. In the analysis and reflection have to point out: what knowledge, skill
s and specific professional skills applied and developed to their specific needs
ejrcicio demanding professional.
4 .- Within the same context, the profession, the report, reflection and analysi
s, have to give account
The roles and functions performed as a professional. The impact that had on the
organizations performance, instances, or social groups with which they worked.
5 .- It should be noted, too, the extent and area in which professional practice
achieved by the exercise: recognition and prestige. Demand, Trust in the commun
icator. Constraints, determinants or aspects that are considered obstacles to th
e professional development of journalists.
6 .- At the conclusion should construct new ideas or thoughts from the writing t
hat avence in cognitive, not summaries or brief repetition of what was written.
In this regard the objectives of the project, the completed project, the methodo
logy used, the forms of professional inernvención. Furthermore the recommendatio
ns and suggestions are made to the training institution, students and alumni, sh
ould consider the ideas and elements on the aspects mentioned above. Sincerely,
Carlos Corrales Diaz.
