Competency Unit Title WELDING INSPECTION ACTIVITY COORDINATION
The person who is competent in Welding Inspection Activity Coordination shall be able to schedule and carry out
monitoring of welding inspection activities and compile records in accordance with welding project requirement. to

Upon completion of this competency unit, trainee will be able to:-


Determine various type of welding inspection activities requirement
Plan and arrange welding inspection activities before, during and after completion of welding work
Learning Outcome Confirm welding inspection activities to be performed before, during and after completion of welding work
Request for welding inspection activities
Arrange for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Destructive Testing (DT).
Determine weldment status based on NDT or DT result.
Compile welding inspection coordination activities records
