Preparing for Lesson Development

1. What does your pre-assessment observation indicate about your
students needs and current performance and educational needs?
The students will continue to learn about different animal classes. They have
already learned about mammals, fish, birds, and reptiles. The boys took more
of an interest in reptiles than the girls did so I added art into this lesson so
the girls would be more interested. Reptiles and amphibians are very similar
so I think it is important to show the students how the are different and alike.

2. How will you design the lesson to meet the needs of all learners in
your classroom? The students will be able to work with their partner on the
life cycle of amphibians which will help them not make mistakes. The teacher
will also give each student a chance to give an answer while completeing the
Venn Diagram.
