The Little Prince Reflection

The Little Prince is an unorthodox type of story. It tells about a lot of

things that we can relate to but it was shown indirectly because of its kid
like perspective or shall I say imaginative perspective.
The first thing that every child could relate to is the expectations of the
mother to the little girl. The little girl was taught by her to be a very
organized kind of a person, so she failed her interview because impromptu
isnt a thing to a very organized person. Because of the mothers personal
dream to her child, she even made her a life plan based on her own. But
things changed when the girl met the old man and was introduce to the
story of the little prince.
In the little princes story he once had his own planet where he took
care as a sprout that he thought to be a good seed and later became his
own rose. The rose may represent to a love in vain because she became
self-centered when she knew that the little prince is so in love with her. The
rose became reason why the prince left his planet. This scene is mostly
common to couples with one sided love or when one of them fell in love out
of vanity.
Every planet that the little prince had visited were inhabited by
different characters that later became the people that we frequently see in
the adult life. The king represents the bossy type of person, the
businessman is the greedy one, and the conceited man is the one who
seeks for applause.
When the little prince had arrive to earth he met a fox. The fox is one
of the hundred thousand foxes found on earth but he was different to the
little prince because only the little prince tamed him. And just like the rose,
it was one of the hundred thousand roses but its the little princes rose
because he took care of her. Thats why it is only in the heart that one can
see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye. Special things come
when we know they are.
Time had passed the little girl found the little prince as a grown up man
who forgot about his adventures, his friend fox and his rose. And he later
lived in the same planet with the king, the conceited man, and the
businessman, which made him into an adult. The little prince is the kid in us
that was destroyed by the reality of our chaotic planet.
 I think the point of this movie is to remind us about the childhood that
we forget the people we often meet and the ones who stay with us, but also
there will be snakes that will fool us. It is a story of human nature that
everyone can relate to.
