George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter etc. The song doesnt specifically
need to be comic, just of this period and style.

A song from a traditional book musical (1945-65) i.e. by Rodgers &

Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe. Bock & Harnick, Frank Loesser, Leonard
Bernstein etc. This should be sung in a legit style.

A song from a musical with a big Broadway sound (1965-80) i.e. by Kander &
Ebb, Cy Coleman, Jerry Herman, etc. The music style of this material will
usually have a jazz influence.
