The Assembly of First Nations Education Work Plan obtains its strategic direction from three guiding documents:
1) 2015 - AFN Federal Election Priorities for First Nations and Canada: Closing the Gap
2) 2015 - TRC of Canada: Calls to Action (Education)
3) 2016 -AFN Resolutions passed by Chiefs in Assembly
